Is there any movie that you saw and thought ‘Oh! This is one movie I should’ve made!’?
There are millions of stories waiting to be told. We have come to realise that people are waiting to watch stories with a heart. We will always strive to find that connect. A recent example of films we would loved to have made would be3 Idiots, Chak De India, Rock On, Udaan, and Wake up Sid!

Most Bollywood movies sank at the box office in the last quarter. Aren’t you unnerved?
The Hindi film industry has been through a very transitional phasegiven the advent of the studio culture. While this period has given an opportunity to lots of new talent, the intricacies of the financial structure are yet to be completely fine tuned. This is a reality faced by all industries when faced with change. But we are extremely optimistic…

What about acting on and producing serials for TV?
It’s a brilliant business proposition! But like all other creative businesses our involvement with the medium is solely dependent on that one idea or opportunity that truly inspires us.

How was the experience of kissing a live snake? “It (the snake) was so slimy, and it kept licking. Jennifer told me, ‘Be passionate. You’re the nagin’. But, my best on-screen kiss has been with a snake,” she says.

While she has no man in her life at the moment, that may well change in the future. “I am not missing any man in my life. But, I am open to having one,” she signs off.
